Yes that’s right, Knights of the Crusades fighting off Dinosaurs. This is what the new owners of the Dinosaurs would have you believe. They are under the impression that both co-existed 5000 years ago and that fossils were placed on earth by satan to fool humans.

Mai Handwoven is the wife and I’s side project. It’s a line of silk scarves, pillows and wall hangings all hand dyed using colors derived from 100% natural sources, and handwoven on traditional looms. These guys share a house right now, skateboarding is awesome sometimes. Stopped by their house to shoot some portraits of Sheff for an interview in an upcoming issue of Skateboarder Mag.

Mike Ballard and Salman Agah have just released the fourth edition in their Skatebook project. Coming out as a quarterly hard-bound coffee table book is an ambitious scope for a skateboard periodical but the results so far have been great. Do yourself a favor and track down these volumes of skateboard history. This time around I have a pile of images featured in chapters on Colin Mckay, Pat Duffy and Neil Mims.

The traveling Nixon Art Mosh show will be making it’s first stop of the year in Vancouver at the Trunk Gallery on the Wednesday the 21st. Anyone who makes it out to the show please drop me a line and let me know how the event turns out.
