The last shoot for the year. Shot in a drainage ditch under a freeway yet still managed to get kicked out by four cops, good riddance to 2008.

Normally skate contests aren’t something that would end up on here but this past weekend the folks at Red Bull put on something a little different. They held a contest on the deck of a World War II battleship, one that fought in every major battle of the war including the infamous battle of Midway. They gave us free reign to explore the ship unaccompanied, climbing anywhere we wanted. The ship was massive, hundreds of people on board for months at a time. They made everything from ammunition to shoes right there on board. Knowing what people went through on there and what the ship has seen make it an erie place to say the least. The ship itself is said to be haunted, the people who work there claim to have seen strange things when alone three decks below.
